Rev. Oliver Helsabeck - Campus Minister

(336) 408-9041

helsabow@wfu.edu

Oliver is the campus minister from Tobaccoville, NC. He graduated from Appalachian State with a BS in English with minors in Music and History. Later, he got his master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. His unpopular opinion is that he does not like coffee, sweet tea and Mt. Dew Zero are his caffeine fixes! Oliver’s favorite bible verse 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your worries on him because he cares for you.” He loved being active in the Wesley Foundation at ASU and it became a home away from home and the place where he made lifelong friends. He wants to make Wake Wesley that same safe place where everyone can share their gifts, make friends, grow in faith and experience the love of Jesus in real, tangible ways.

Oliver has chosen to leave the Wesley Foundation this July for an appointment at a nearby church. We are currently searching for a new campus minister! Check the Home page for the application.
